As I stated, I would get a grinding noise and a female voice stating "Siri is now connect" just as the PC was powering down. One of the devices was a cordless USB horseshoe shaped headphones I use for listening to music that would activate as the power would be shut off from the PC and connect and play the voice through the PC speakers!
A light came on and I disconnected and turned off the horseshoe shaped headphones and no longer have the grinding and Siri voice! Thanks for your advice. Worried my hard drive was on the verge of crashing. This site in other languages x.
